Please Note:

All of our shirts are 100% cotton* and NOT preshrunk,
so they will shrink when washed and dried.

They are machine washer and dryer safe, though, as with all garments,
machine washers and dryers will eventually cause your Chalkboard Tee to
fade, shrink, and one day it may not be as writable and erasable as when it is brand new.

If upon receiving your shirt, you find it is too small before washing it,
please contact us to arrange an exchange.

We will not exchange a washed, worn or written-on shirt,
unless there is something wrong with the shirt.

This pretty much never happens.

Sizing Tips:

1.) For our kids sizes, they generally correlate with age. Not always, of course.

2.) To find out size, take the age and round up to the nearest even number.
example: A 3 year-old would probably wear a size 4, whereas an 8 year-old would wear a size 10

3.) If you’re unsure when deciding between two sizes, go with the larger size.

4.) Don't forget, Kids grow up quickly!

Choosing a size too small is the most common mistake made when ordering.

Policies:

Shipping
Orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which usually takes 2-3 business days anywhere in the US.

Most Chalkboard Tees are made to order. Please allow one week for your order to ship, though it will usually go out within 2-3 days.
We are working to shorten this time and every order you make is helping us reach that goal!
You will receive a tracking number via email to the address associated with your payment.

Out-of-Stock Items
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we manufacture in small batches. For this reason, from time to time we run out of stock. When this happens, we work to re-stock the items as soon as possible, so items are usually not out of stock for more than 1-2 weeks.

If any part of your order is out of stock we will let you know. At this time you may:
 1.) Wait for us to ship your entire order when every item is in stock.
 2.) Choose an alternate item and ship that in place of the out-of-stock item.

Returns
If there is a problem with your shirt email us at returns@thechalkboardtee.com

To return your shirt please send it back unused and unwashed in an appropriate package. We will gladly refund your return shipping cost and send your replacement free of charge if:
 a.) you find an issue with the quality your shirt.
 b.) there was an error with your order. (e.g. wrong item, wrong size, etc.)

In cases of customer error, we will replace your item, but may not refund return shipping, nor pay to ship your replacement item.

This may apply to cases when an incorrect size was ordered.

In most cases your replacement will be shipped as soon as your return item is received. If you are in need of your replacement sooner, we may issue you a discount code with which you may order your replacement. Upon receipt of returned item your shipping charges will be refunded.
